Dr. Oscar Agoro is a Deputy Director of Medical Services and Public Health at the County Government of Nyeri, and the County AMR Focal Point for Human Health. He chairs Nyeri County Antimicrobial Stewardship Inter-agency Committee (CASIC), which coordinates One Health action across human, animal and environmental health sectors.
His work covers AMR governance, stewardship, partner coordination, health planning and financing, health information systems, M&E and research. He holds an MSc in Health Informatics from the University of Leeds, an MSc in Health Systems Management from Kenya Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Nairobi.
